I have loved pottery ever since I learned how to throw in high school. 11 years ago, I was lucky enough to find a local artist teaching a class on wheel throwing and found myself hooked again!

I started a small pottery business in 2011 called Wheezie Works to sell pottery through arts festivals and local galleries and for the past 2 years I have been selling my pieces on Etsy. I oversee the day to day running of a local community Studio and create many of the pieces there. I also have small studio at home where I get to hang out with my furry crew!

I enjoy creating numerous functional pieces but my fountains are my favorite by far.  When a customer contacts me to let say that their pets are drinking more, it makes my heart happy.  Not only is a ceramic fountain easier to clean, it also harbors less bacteria than plastic or metal, making a perfect choice for your pet.

Clay is an amazing medium to work with and I continue to learn things every day.  Every piece I make is different in some way - the clay can sometimes have a mind of it's own and I try to remember this and give it the respect it deserves. I will continue to learn and grow and hopefully make something that is perfect for your pet and your home.
