My Fountains - what's included!

Solid Ceramic Bowl

Some fountain designs have a hole drilled in the side for the power cord of the pump to pass through. Several of my customers have mentioned over time this design can leak as the seal can wear out and the power cord can fray. So, I decided to make all of my fountains with solid bowls to avoid these issues.  Another reason to have a solid bowl is that it is so much easier to clean - the pump simply lifts out so that you can clean the bowl and the pump properly. If you should ever need to replace your pump it couldn't be easier. I create a ceramic leaf for each fountain so that the pump wire is covered, which not only makes it aesthetically pleasing but also extremely functional. I only use the highest quality food safe and lead-free glazes with all of my ceramics.

The Pump

The pump is adjustable and can be easily taken apart so that you can clean the various parts. The pumps I use are made for aquariums - I have 2 aquariums and I know the importance of using quality pumps to avoid any toxins being released into the water.  I use two different style of pumps depending of the fountain design. These pumps are very quiet, last for years, and they help to aerate the water.  If a pump should ever fail within a year, I will gladly provide a replacement!

The Silicone Tubing

I only use food grade silicone tubing in all of my fountains. There are no metal or copper components - my aim is to keep your pets safe as well as happy!

The Pump Hide

This is also one piece of solid ceramic that hides the pump and filter and can be easily cleaned in the sink or by just popping into your dishwasher.  All of my fountains come with full set up and cleaning instructions.

The Carbon Filter

Activated carbon is a great natural toxin remover. It is harmless if taken internally and very effective in absorbing  impurities which cause unpleasant tastes and odors. I also use this in my two fish tanks to keep impurities out of the water.  The carbon that I use in my cat fountains is high density, pelleted, activated carbon contained in a reusable mesh bag. The carbon will last approximately 6 months and is included with each fountain purchase as well as some extra to keep you going.
